Here on Earth, all kinds of things evolved into life. Separate lines of living things evolving into reptiles, mammals, fish, plants and insects. That picture, from the Hubble, shows millions of stars. There have got to be massive numbers of planets out there, and my guess is that most of the ones with water have life on them.
