That ABC “News” special last night had little or nothing in the way of evidence of the allegations made by Corey Clark. The show had friends and family members of Clark, saying they believed Paula had had an affair with Clark, but none of them even said they’d seen the two holding hands. The famous answering machine tape had nothing more than what was reported yesterday:
“Hi, it’s Paula, call me back,” the message begins. “If the press is trying to talk to you, you say absolutely nothing. That’s all you do. These people are crazy. I don’t know what it’s regarding, but something’s going on. Okay? I hope you’re doing well.”
Today we hear that Clay Aiken, who was on the show the same year as Clark, doesn’t believe the allegations.
And Clark himself is refusing to cooperate with Fox in the investigation.
ABC News has no proof and even insignificant circumstantial evidence to back up its charges. ABC News owes Paula Abdul an apology.

Although Quicktime 7 is currently Mac-only, a Windows version is expected.
With Rush Hour, Tucker became a very successful actor; yet he’s refused to make anything but sequels to that picture ever since. From Variety (registration required):
Rather than look for more big paydays, the Atlanta-based Tucker has steadily turned down every film offered him. He has chosen to busy himself instead with pursuits that range from standup comedy to standing up for his pal Michael Jackson through the singer’s court battle. He has also traveled the globe, hung with Bono and President Bill Clinton in Africa, and has become a favored houseguest of Jordan’s King Abdullah.
