U.N. Official Tries to Distract the World from the Crimes of the U.N. by Attacking America

This is absurd:

NEW YORK (AP) — Secretary General Kofi Annan’s chief of staff called the United States an “ungainly giant” that only plays by its own rules, criticizing the U.N.’s largest donor in unusually strong terms Sunday.

The U.N. supports dictators that oppress their own people; has often turned a blind eye to genocide; supervised the oil-for-food program from which billions were siphoned off; and has “peacekeepers” that do terrible things to the populations they are supposed to protect. And this U.N. spokesman has the gall, the impudence, to say the U.S. “only plays by its own rules”?

Illegal Aliens Bring Diseases into America that We Have Worked for Centuries to Rid Ourselves Of

“This is a real phenomenon. It’s a public health threat. New York is endemic now, and nobody’s noticed.”

“Americans should be told that diseases long eradicated in this country – tuberculosis, leprosy, polio, for example – and other extremely contagious diseases have been linked directly to illegals,” Rep. J.D. Hayworth, R-Ariz., told the Business Journal of Phoenix. “For example, in 40 years, only 900 persons were afflicted by leprosy in the U.S.; in the past three years, more than 7,000 cases have been presented.”

“This emerging crisis exposes the upside-down thinking of federal immigration policy,” he continued. “While legal immigrants must undergo health screening prior to entering the U.S., illegal immigrants far more likely to be carrying contagious diseases are crawling under that safeguard and going undetected until they infect extraordinary numbers of American residents.”

We must control the borders.

The NY Times reports that the technology now exists to produce clean energy from coal. One such plant exists already. If the cost of gas goes up too high, this technology could make a substantial contribution to U.S. energy production.

AL-QAEDA PLANNED TO BUILD WMD:

WASHINGTON, May 20 -Al Qaeda operatives in Afghanistan began to assemble the equipment necessary to build a rudimentary biological weapons laboratory before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, letters released by the Defense Department show.

The operatives were not immediately able to obtain a sample of the deadly anthrax strain that they wanted to reproduce in their laboratory, according to the letters.

The letters are among the documents recovered in late 2001 after the invasion of Afghanistan that United States intelligence officials have frequently cited as evidence that Al Qaeda was working to develop biological weapons.

The letters, recently made public as a result of a Freedom of Information Act request, detail a visit by an unnamed Qaeda scientist to a laboratory at an unspecified location where he was shown “a special confidential room” with thousands of samples of biological substances.

A Congressional Report Praises the Minutemen

Report urges troops sent to border:

...a congressional report … credits the Minuteman Project with proving that additional manpower could “dramatically reduce if not virtually eliminate” illegal immigration.

The 33-page report, written by investigators for the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, said the Minutemen — who shut down a 23-mile stretch of the Arizona border last month — served as a model for a government effort to reclaim the southern border of the United States.

A Myth Exploded: There is No Arab Population Time-Bomb in Israel

A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine, who cares deeply about Israel, told me that Israel is doomed, because of the birth rates of Arabs vs. Israelis who live in Israel, and the number of Arabs who are already living there. It was the first time I’d heard that, and I was very concerned.

It turns out that this is a myth, based on numbers provided by the Palestinian Authority. These numbers were accepted worldwide for many years, and have just been found on inspection to be inaccurate.

Last Saturday I went to a meeting at a private residence in L.A. where Bennett Zimmerman, a former Strategy Consultant with Bain & Company, and historian Dr. Roberta Seid, briefed the guests on the results of a study they have done on this. Physicist and mathematic modeling techniques expert, Dr. Michael L. Wise, who was not present at this meeting, also collaborated in the study.

Bennett and Roberta have already been invited to brief the Israeli President and Knesset on their analysis, which has caused a sensation in Israel. Their findings have been confirmed by leading American demographer, Nick Eberstadt:

The study was initially presented on January 10-11, 2005 at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and the Heritage Foundation in Washington, following a through examination by Washington, DC’s leading demographer, Nick Eberstadt of the AEI.

The Bottom Line:

1. Today, the Palestinian-Arab population of the West Bank (1.4MN) and Gaza (1MN) totals 2.4 million, rather than the 3.8 million reported by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

2. A solid Jewish majority of 60% has been sustained – between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean – since 1967. A solid 80% Jewish majority has been maintained within the “Green Line”.

3. Long-Term demographic trends re-entrench the Jewish majority.

Newsweek Doesn’t Want the U.S. Public to Know it is Slamming America Overseas

Riding Sun uncovered an unequivocal subterfuge on the part of Newsweek.

What contempt the editors of Newsweek must have felt for their U.S. public, showing us Oscar celebrities, while overseas they were attacking America with all their might.

This plus the false story about Quantanamo that caused so much suffering raises serious questions about the intentions of Newsweek. Are they to present the news to the best of their professional ability—or are they just to do harm to America ?

Their only defense is that they’re telling every market what sells in that marketplace—but that very defense shows that they’re selling their professionalism for profit. If you believe what you’re saying you don’t change it from one marketplace to the next.

And it leaves them open to the criticism that they themselves are actively seeking to make foreign marketplaces receptive to the anti-American propaganda they’re selling.

It appears to be a tremendous indictment of their trustworthiness. What American can trust Newsweek now, knowing that they’re telling us one thing, while attacking us overseas?
