"We're really blessed in this country to have the Judeo-Christian tradition of wanting to love each other and help each other have better lives and to enjoy life and be good to each other. As opposed to the tradition of some Islamofascist localities where they do the reverse - sending their own children off to be blown up."

Financial Pressure is on Hamastan to Accept Israel

    Hamastan is broke:

Hamas says PA coffers are 'empty'

Mr Haniya said he would make every effort to pay employees

The Palestinian prime minister has told the first meeting of his Hamas-led cabinet that the government is facing a deep financial crisis.

Ismail Haniya says his administration inherited a finance ministry that had no money left, yet had mounting debts.

He said the new leadership would do its best to pay the wages of more than 100,0000 Palestinian Authority workers.

The international community is using financial pressure to require Hamas to recognize Israel:

Aid donors have threatened to cut funds to the PA if Hamas does not change its doctrine of non-recognition of Israel.

Hamastan is finally at the mercy of the West. It's essential to keep up the pressure on this nation of terrorists until they give up their evil purposes. Per Daniel Pipes:

Israel needs only to defeat the Palestinian Arabs, not the whole Arab or Muslim populations, who eventually will follow the Palestinian Arab lead.

... Ironically, Israeli success in crushing the Palestinian Arab war morale would be the best thing that ever happened to the Palestinian Arabs. It would mean their finally giving up their foul dream of eliminating their neighbor and would offer a chance instead to focus on their own polity, economy, society, and culture. To become a normal people, one whose parents do not encourage their children to become suicide terrorists, Palestinian Arabs need to undergo the crucible of defeat.

McKinney Makes Light of Hitting a Police Officer

    McKinney still hasn't apologized

McKinney wasn't backing down from the argument. She charged anew that racism is behind what she said is a pattern of difficulty in clearing Hill security checkpoints.

"This has become much ado about hairdo," she said Wednesday on CBS's "The Early Show." McKinney, a Georgia Democrat, recently dropped her trademark cornrows in favor of a curly brown afro.

I guess McKinney wants Blacks to have a special right (which people of other skin colors don't have) of being able to hit policemen. Throw the book at her.

Behind the Scenes Stories of Al Qaeda’s Planning of 911

From Josh Meyer of the LA Times comes an extraordinary account of behind-the-scenes goings-on at Al Qaeda during preparations for 911:

Mohammed described Al Qaeda in a written statement for his U.S. interrogators...

Mohammed revealed some of his management stratagems to his interrogators.

"Simplicity was the key to success," was one of them.

For instance, he told the plot's co-conspirators not to use codes, especially in routine messages or e-mails.

"He asked the operatives to be normal to the maximum extent possible in their dealings, to keep the tone of their letters educational, social or commercial, and to keep the calls short."

Mohammed also delegated tasks. He entrusted much of the communications and finance details to two underlings so he would not have to be in contact with the hijackers while they were in America. And he gave lead hijacker Mohamed Atta the authority over many operational details.

Mohammed said he was a stickler for security. He insisted on compartmentalizing the details of the plot, to such a degree that even some of Al Qaeda's top officials did not know them.

"When four people know the details of an operation, it is dangerous; when two people know, it is good; when just one person knows, it is better," Mohammed said, according to his interrogators.
