Iran Insists Enrichment Goal Is Peaceful:
TEHRAN, Iran -- Iran's hard-line president said Tuesday that the country "has joined the club of nuclear countries" by successfully enriching uranium for the first time - a key process in what Iran maintains is a peaceful energy program.
Every other word out of Ahmadinejad's mouth is about destroying Israel, destroying the West, creating chaos on Earth, etc. Why would anyone believe he would not use nuclear technology to achieve his stated goals? He's taking the position that he wants to destroy the West, but one thing he'd never use to achieve that goal would be nukes.
