"We're really blessed in this country to have the Judeo-Christian tradition of wanting to love each other and help each other have better lives and to enjoy life and be good to each other. As opposed to the tradition of some Islamofascist localities where they do the reverse - sending their own children off to be blown up."
The Big Picture, 4/29/04.

    Carnival of the Vanities #153

This is my second time hosting Carnival of the Vanities; I last hosted COTV #116 in December, and once again, I really enjoyed putting it together.

I'm going to try a variation on a layout originated for last week's COTV at Willisms. In this variation, my personal favorite posts will be marked with a big blue bullet.

Herewith, now... the 153rd CARNIVAL OF THE VANITIES.

image Kevin, MD, offers some great links for health info.

image Isaac Schrödinger discusses the "warped" teaching he encountered in public schools in Saudi Arabia.

image GM's Corner has a great post on the absurd allegations of many Libs; freedom of speach; and Cindy Sheehan.

image The Nose on Your Face offers the hilarious "Top 9 Suggested Islamofascist Ben & Jerry's Flavors".

image This is so funny. The Right Place envisions protesters who won't lead, won't follow, and who especially won't get out of the way.

image Wicked Thoughts has some really good trivia.

image Mr. Snitch tracks the evolution of MSM's relationship with the blogosphere.

    Submitted August 23rd.

image Supporting the troops but not their missions "is like telling your best friends that you support them in their rolls as husband and wife and will do all that is needed to give them the support they need, but at the same time, planting seeds of doubt, fear and distrust in an effort to undermine the marriage," observes WunderKraut.

image TMH’s Bacon Bits welcomes "Governors Standing Tough on Illegal Immigration - For Real."

image Rip & Read Blogger Podcast reviews hot links on MSM, oil prices, and more.

And that wraps up this week’s COTV. It’s been great hosting it. Thanks to Silflay Hraka for creating and maintaining COTV.
