A PROFESSOR IN HAIFA has already designed a device to detect the kind of liquid explosive (TATP) that was to have been used in the UK plane bombing attack. It turns out that terrorists have been using this explosive for some time. The Professor noted that “TATP becomes less of a threat the more we know about it.”
This is why these kinds of things don't happen on El-Al. You think they haven't tried? We just make sure to stay one step ahead. If America would get off of its high horse and ask Israel for help, they wouldn't be talking about not having the proper machinery to detect these types of explosives.
