The AP seems to be trying to pull the wool over readers' eyes again. Here's their headline:
Hamas Says its Ready for 'Two-State' Solution with Israel
Hamas is ready for a "two-state" solution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a senior official said Friday, in what would appear to be a softening of Hamas' position and imply recognition of the Jewish state.
But the same article shows that the headline states something which is not yet a fact, and which may never be a fact:
The official said Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas would discuss the idea with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, a moderate, in a meeting in Gaza City later Friday. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the proposal has not yet been submitted.
Even if the proposal were to be submitted and approved, I would not expect Hamastan to abide by it.
Yes. For others reading this, here's supporting info:
Top Hamas officials denied reports on Friday that their new government was ready for a two-state solution with Israel or would present such a proposal to Mahmoud Abbas.
"That is not correct. Where did you hear that?" [Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail] Haniyeh said in the Gaza Strip town of Khan Yunis. He appeared shocked when asked by reporters if it was true.
Evidently the Palestinian spokesman who made the comments that fooled many MSM outlets into thinking Hamastan might consider recognizing Israel, was making those statements solely to generate favorable press coverage. MSM fell for it.
The reality is that Hamastan is still committed to genocide.
Hamastan must be decisively defeated so that they are forced to abandon this evil goal forever.
Can we say pathetic attempt at a PR move?!? DUH!!! The PM also came out after the MSM reported that Hamas had submitted what looked like their desire to live "peacefully" with their neighbors and falt out denied that this pertained to Israel. Then, he went on to describe his genocidal dreams of living in a land without Israel. If he did write the letter, then the "neighbors" part obviously referred to the Arab countries, and them "living side by side" with them without an Israel. Why is the MSM so ready to accept attrition so much that they're willing to blatantly lie, subvert the truth, and hide facts to make it appear as though it's actually the truth?
