CINDY SHEEHAN MOVING TO NEW ORLEANS TO RECAPTURE MEDIA ATTENTION:
"My story is important," said Cindy. "More important than a few dead people killed by Bush's global warming-induced hurricane. Bush has killed millions of people in Iraq, and the media needs to start listening to me again. Maybe now that I'm in New Orleans I'll get the attention I deserve again."
There weren't millions killed in Iraq. Sheehan had previously stated that "we are waging nuclear war in Iraq." This woman evidently has no idea what she's talking about.
Update: Commenter Tom Jefferson has pointed out that the above-quoted article is written by a satirist and is therefore likely a satire.
There is a term in Judaism called, "Busha"-shame. This woman has no Busha. She is a complete attention hog that has gone completely off the deep end. How is that there are reporters who still contend that she is the spokewoman for all Army mothers?!? I think the majority of them would be and are embarrassed to be used in the same sentence as her. Tom, I love how liberals love to twist things. When a liberal or Democrat make a horrible statement, it's seen as satire or being taken out of contest. But, when a Republican or conservative does it, they're stupid or shameful.

Cindy Sheehan did not make this "horrible statement." The article is an attempt at humor. The writer made it up. You and Vik were fooled by a hoax.
I don't know how I can be any clearer about this.
Well, it's not a hoax, Tom, it's a satire. But I appreciate your pointing that out, and I've updated the post to reflect that.
Olah, I agree with your comments. You are spot-on about how Libs make horrible statements and pass them off as satires. Cindy's statement that "we are waging nuclear war in Iraq" is wildly inaccurate, and yet MSM gave her a pass on it. In fact it was perfectly satirized by the author of the quoted piece.
I enjoyed visiting your your blog today, and look forward to continuing to read it.
Uh, Vik... That article is an attempt at satire.
