In this article, I posted on a significant story from Iraq, that MSM has suppressed so that people don't hear about it. New commenter makowski notes:

This is a standard defense of MSM's omission of good news. But that's not consistent with what MSM says it is doing. MSM says, we are exposing to you the evils of the world that you wouldn't hear about without us. If MSM said, we're just pretending to make the U.S. look bad when it really isn't in order to sell papers, that would justify this defense -- and be closer to the truth.
