From ynet:
Record immigration to Israel in spite of crisis
Over 4,000 new immigrants from all over the world will have arrived in Israel from the beginning of July until the end of August
It's great that the love for Israel is so great as to increase immigration to that nation at this time.
But in the case of France, there is another force at work, one that threatens all non-Muslims. This morning I received the following email, which was widely distributed by a friend of mine.
Once again, the real news is conveniently not being reported as it should. At present, in my Hebrew class, there is a woman who recently made aliya (immigration to Israel) from Paris with her family. I have spoken with her about anti-Semitism in France and she confirmed that it is very, very serious and getting worse every week. She and her family fled Paris and came to Israel, fearing for their lives - literally. This is first hand, my friends.
To give you an idea of what's going on in France where there are now between 5 and 6 million Muslims and about 600,000 Jews, here is an email that came from another Jew still in France. Please read! Will the world say nothing - again - as it did in Hitler's time?
He writes, "I AM A JEW -- therefore I am forwarding this to everyone on all my e-mail lists. I will not sit back and do nothing." Nowhere have the flames of anti-Semitism burned more furiously than in France:
In Lyon, a car was rammed into a synagogue and set on fire.
In Montpellier, the Jewish religious center was firebombed;
so were synagogues in Strasbourg and Marseilles;
so was a Jewish school in Creteil - all recently
A Jewish sports club in Toulouse was attacked with Moloto v cocktails,
and on the statue of Alfred Dreyfus in Paris, the words "Dirty Jew" were painted.
In Bondy, 15 men beat up members of a Jewish football team with sticks and metal bars.
The bus that takes Jewish children to school in Aubervilliers has been attacked three times in the last 14 months.
According to the Police, metropolitan Paris has seen 10 to 12 anti-Jewish incidents PER DAY in the past 30 days. Wake up, world! Walls in Jewish neighborhoods have been defaced with slogans proclaiming "Jews to the gas chambers" and "Death to the Jews."
A gunman opened fire on a kosher butcher's shop (and, of course, the butcher) in Toulouse, France;
a Jewish couple in their 20s were beaten up by five men in Villeurbanne, France. The woman was pregnant
a Jewish school was broken into and vandalized in Sarcelles, France. This was in the past week
So I call on you, whether you are a fellow Jew, a friend, or merely a person with the capacity and desire to distinguish decency from depravity, to do, at least, these three simple things:
First, care enough to stay informed. Don't ever let yourself become deluded into thinking that this is not your fight. I remind you of what Pastor Neimoller said in World War II: First they came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me.
Second, boycott France and French products. Only the Arab countries are more toxically anti-Semitic and, unlike them, France exports more than just oil and hatred. So boycott their wines and their perfumes. Boycott their clothes and their foodstuffs. Boycott their movies. Definitely boycott their shores. If we are resolved we can exert amazing pressure and, whatever else we may know about the French, we most certainly know that they are like a cobweb in a hurricane in the face of well directed pressure.
Third, send this along to your family, your friends, and your co-workers. Think of all of the people of good conscience that you know and let them know that you and the people that you care about need their help. The number one best selling book in France is "September 11: The Frightening Fraud," which argues that no plane ever hit the Pentagon.
Is it any wonder that aliya from France to Israel has increased dramatically?
To my non-Muslim, non-Jewish French readers -- radical Islam teaches that all non-Muslims must be second-class citizens, or be killed. If the radical Islamists in France gain sufficient strength -- they will come after you. Get organized, and prevent the great and beautiful French culture, language, and way of life, from being destroyed.
I like to ask people, "You know what language they used to speak in Egypt?" No one ever knows the answer. The answer, I tell them, is... Egyptian. The ancient, great, and beautiful Egyptian culture has been erased from the face of the Earth, and replaced with Islam.
Don't let the same thing happen to ancient, great, and beautiful culture of France.
Islam must be completely annihilated before it’s too late.
"Completely annihilated"? What exactly are you advocating? Genocide?
Call it what you want Ruth. As Vic has repeatedly proved, Muslims are a cancer on society. Cancers need to be destroyed.
Read Victor Davis Hanson if you want to know more.
While I agree that the number of immigrants to Israel has increased partly of anti-semitism in the ENTIRE span of Europe, the majority of Olim (immigrants) have been coming from NORTH AMERICA. The number of immigrants moving to Israel from the US and Canada has been drastically increasing over the past 4 years. This is due to numerous factors. Mainly, it is because of the great organization, Nefesh B'Nefesh. They have made immigrating such a smooth and easy process. I know, because I immigrated to Israel through them. There's no more beurocracy to deal with. They deal with it all for you. There is also the fact that the economy has been growing so dramatically, especially in the high tech industry. I believe Israel now ranks in the top 5 or even the top 3 in high tech.
What am I trying to say with this? I guess what I'm trying to say is that thankfully Jews now have a true home to find sanctuary in when they are persecuted, a fact that never existed before, Israel is not some "last ditch" third world country that they're running to. More so, Israel isn't even a country anymore that can be chategorized as one where only oppressed Jews flee to. Jews from America and other Western countries that live relatively comfortable lives are coming to Israel because they WANT to, not because they have to. That's a huge difference and a huge change. Israel accepts more refugees from more countries than any other nation. We are the first and only country in history to bring a group of black people from Africa in order to be full-fledged equal citizens and not slaves. What's sad is that people still think of Israel as a third world country that only poor Jewish refugees run to, or that she's "racist". Israel is an amazingly vibrant country with her share of "problems". But, I truly believe that, as a Jew, no more how many of my neighbors want to kill me, there is no-where safer than here.
Thanks for listening to my rant.

Thanks for this great post, Olah. I'm very glad to hear this.
Right on Vic. Islam must be completely annihilated before it's too late.
