Apropos to Michael Moore receiving a People’s Choice award last night, I finally got around to trying to watch FAHRENHEIT 9/11. On this attempt I got about 15 to 20 minutes into it.
Up to that point it’s nothing more than his narration declaring a series of not only false, but also absurd statements, accompanied by footage which presents no evidence to back up the statements. He says such things as:
He actually says the other networks changed their own calls, only because Fox news called Florida for Bush. It’s just goofy.
As a life-long Democrat in a family of life-long Democrats, I hereby declare Michael Moore persona non grata, notwithstanding Jimmy Carter's foolish invitations.
I've always hated Moore, and his cinematic cheap shots.
I may not be in the President Bush's fan club on every issue, but he and his family deserve more respect, especially when they occupy the White House.
Moore should stick to what every other sleazy chump has done before, make movies about dead people who can't defend themselves from his assinine innuendos.
