#4It is not particularly fair to highlight Representative Pelosi’s ‘nay’ votes as it doesn’t tell the whole story; some of her ‘yea’ votes should also be taken into consideration as well as those entities, PAC’s, and other lobbying groups who consider her voting record in sync with their respective philosophies and agenda.

It’s not a matter of Republican vs Democrat, but Conservative vs Liberal; we have elements of both in each party.
Nancy Pelosi reflects an extremely far-left philosophy which I feel is not in step with most of the country.
I still find her positions frightening.

I agree that the way these particular votes are selected is done to give a negative connotation. I think it should be less bias to be a bit more credible. People can see right through this kind of thing. Now, I have followed Mrs. Pelosi’s politics for years and I am repulsed by many of her stands. Frankly, anyone that won’t make an effort to protect our borders and unique culture disgusts me. That includes George Bush, John McCain, Ted Kennedy, and most of the rest. Special Interests, corporations, and foreign governments own our leaders. The corporate, global media is just as self interested (ex: cnn filming a sniper view blasting of our troops. For this climate, maybe Pelosi is perfect! Good job American Sheeple! Pelosi, Bush, Schumer, Clinton??? This is not a government, and a bad one at that. It’s a sitcom. This has got to be a joke. If Aliens do come and see this world, they will be right to enslave and exterminate. Everybody just pray (can I still say that?)

Imagine this scenario. It’s June of 2007, and the House of
Representatives is getting ready to vote on renewing the semi-auto gun
ban which sunset three years before.
You’ve called your Congressman and asked him to oppose the gun ban. He
assures you that he is with you, and in fact, he carries through with
his promise and votes “no.” But the ban still passes narrowly.
The reason this scenario could occur during the next two years --
whether it’s the semi-auto ban or the Brady expansion act or a gun
show ban—is because the REAL VOTE for killing gun control will
occur on January 4, 2007.
On that day, the House of Representatives will vote for Speaker of the
House. On that day, your Congressman will help determine which bills
get pushed to the floor for a vote and, likewise, which bills will die
in committee. That is the power of the House Speaker. That is the
power that Nancy Pelosi will have, should she be elected to the top
post in the House.
And that’s why Gun Owners of America is telling every Representative
in Congress that GOA will be rating the vote for Speaker on January 4.
A vote in favor of Nancy Pelosi will be counted as an ANTI-GUN vote. A
vote for Pelosi will be considered as a vote for gun control.
The democratic congresswoman from California is rabidly anti-gun. She
is an avowed socialist who is F- rated by Gun Owners of America.
Consider that Pelosi was one of only 99 Representatives who voted IN
FAVOR of gun confiscation in July. That vote saw more than 300
congressmen cast their ballots to prohibit federal agents from
stealing firearms from law-abiding citizens. It was truly an
overwhelming majority who supported the Second Amendment rights of
Americans.
But in that July vote, Nancy Pelosi joined the hard core left in
Congress to SUPPORT gun confiscation. She actually voted to let
government agents burst into your home and steal your firearms!
That’s the woman who will be determining which bills will be voted on
next year in the House of Representatives. Yes, there still may be a
majority of congressmen who oppose the outright gun confiscation of
gun owners’ guns.
But in Nancy Pelosi’s new Congress, a bill to prohibit such gun
confiscation will never see the light of day! She will decide what gun
bills come to the floor.
And that’s why we need your help. Gun Owners will be telling each
Congressman that the vote for the Speaker of the House is a “ratings
vote.” A vote for a gun grabber like Pelosi will be considered an
anti-Second Amendment vote.
But we need you to back us up on this. Tell them that you agree with
this strategy. We’re not asking that Democrats vote for a Republican
for Speaker. To quote a common proverb, “Hell will freeze over before
that happens.”
All we’re asking is that the House does not elevate a committed
supporter of gun confiscation to the top leadership spot in that

I received this in my email. However, according to this, unemployment is down for a number of reasons. It is also down to over 25% in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

I don’t think it’s true. The unemployment rate is higher than it was when Bush took office six years ago. (It was 3.9% in December 2000 and 4.5% in December 2006.)

We have Schwartzenager giving free healthcare to the children of illegals, and Bush is on the verge of signing a bill that will allow illegals that have paid into social security for 18 months under stolen identification to be elligible for social security. We are looking at an amnesty program that will drive down wages and destroy the ability for blue collar workers to support their families. If you ask me, the ruling elite seem to be of 1 party posing as 2. I think we need to focus on getting Reagan style conservatives back in leadership positions and not just credit Republicans for holding up the ideals that we hold dear. We have to put an end to settling for the lesser of evils and votes meant to punish a party rather than promote a strong leader. We already miss you Rick Santorum!

I am a female of color and I for one love Pelosi and whether you agree with her views or not, I find it comforting that no one has been successful in swaying her views, we knew when she first came into politics her background and political views so to act as though she is committing some sort of crime is absurd. You should refrain from using race, color, creed, etc. as a basis for any opinion because you do not speak for everyone of color. I speak for myself and I for one, respect Nancy Pelosi. We need to start addressing issues instead of attacking the individual.

And as far as the constitution, it was written by white slave owners whose definition of minority was themselves, the white elite, the minority of their time. They knew if they were to form the Union within their critical time frame they would have to take up that fight another day. I would also remind you, many slaves were prisoners of rival African tribes that traded them to whites for guns. I have heard this rhetoric before. It’s spewed from the likes of Jesse Jackson to fortify his hate built power base. I’d also remind you that many of our white forefathers fought and died in the civil war to end slavery. #32One thing, and God help us if it is the only thing, that Obama being elected President has done, is that hopefully it will take that crutch out of black peoples’ hands that "All of our problems is due to whites." So easy to fall into the self pity thing, to blame others, nevermind the Condelezza Rices, the Colin Powells, ....Just look at how blacks throw money at Al "Sherlock" Sharpton and Jesse "Sleuth" Jackson for throwing that vacuous prattle at them. I mean, just how does the black community put up with Sherlock and Sleuth hearing about the Duke lacrosse thing and jumping on the first flight to Durham and apparently conducting a thourough examination of the facts and convicting those "Rich White Boys So Oh Yes They Must Be Guilty!!!" before they even got off the plane. And they get off that plane then go to the Duke Gang of 88 (figuratively anyway) and confer findings on THE FACTS OF THE CASE, and annoint all 88 into PoliticalCorrectnessKnightHood and PoliticalCorrectnessKnighnessHood. (These are the ones who need to be sued, the real hypocrits, Sherlock and Sleuth, and those self righteous 88). Just how does Black America put up with these two, and the others that do the same. They tell you that if ANYTHING involves a black and a white that all you need to know is that the black is right and the white is wrong, and YOU BELIEVE IT??? Do you realize that Sherlock and Sleuth, and for that matter, that heroic 88, did NOT EVEN APOLIGIZE, nevermind they destroyed lives to satisfy their hypocracy having done NO research as to what really happened. They did not even CARE what really happened. Wallowing in self righteousness and self pity as Liberals just love to do. And the Democrat party doing this for its entire existance, going around and telling you what victims you are and vote for us and you get handouts and quotas, and you vote for that??? #33Regardless of what happened in the election and whether you agree with the outcome or not, that is how we do things in America. And so each and everyone of you must support soon to be President Obama, to fail to do so is unpatriotic. Let us all hope that as many say, this is just the Second Term of Jimmy Carter is just not true. God help us all if it is, this is a much more dangerous world than when Jimmy Carter was President. You do understand what is about to happen between Israel and Iran, don’t you? Don’t You??? Cluelessness and ineptitude are survivable for a bit with some luck, but continue electing fools (like Maxine Waters, Barney Franks, Bill Clinton, Gregory Meeks, Lacy Clay, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid,...) to office and you will surely perish. And continue paying CEOs millions for running companies into the ground and it will catch up with you. And fail to take back the $90 million dollars you gave Frank Raines for running Freddie/Fannie into the ground and fail to lock these people up, this is rot from within, and it will eventually catch up with you.
