Taking Glenn’s advice, that “bloggers should try to always have a digital camera handy”, I picked up a 4-megapixel Canon S410.
It comes with photostitching software, that lets you combine multiple shots. Here’s an example picture, which I took in a local post office:

That’s four different pictures, shot without a tripod, and then combined later using the Canon software. It looks perfect, doesn’t it?
