In the leaked document, first published on the Web site of London’s Sunday Times on July 10, the Blair government focused on the role of radical imams—many of whom it had given asylum in Britain—inciting Muslims to jihad.
It should be a no-brainer to make it illegal for the imams to call for this sort of thing, to arrest the leaders, and deport the followers. Of course, the Brits could just let them go on killing British civilians, if they really think that's a preferable option.

And by opposing end them?
Some would argue that it's nobler, precisely nobler, to let the terrorists go on blowing up British civilians, rather than to do anything like arresting all these imams, and deporting everyone who belongs to the mosques at which they preach.
In my opinion there's no nobility in letting your own civilians be in danger, and everybody will be much happier with these imams and their followers arrested and/or expelled from England.
