This is a suitable day to remember the fight that we are in. Let's not forget the cause in which the 9-11 hijackers fought, when they killed 3000 civilians. Per the NY Times, documents used by the 9-11 hijackers state that they were following the instructions of the Koran:
3) Read al-Tawba and Anfal [traditional war chapters from the Qur'an] and reflect on their meanings and remember all of the things that God has promised for the martyrs.
From the USC Muslim Students' Association translation of the Koran, here is a passage from al-Tawba:
Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
And from same site, here are two passages from Anfal:
Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire."
...So you did not slay them, but it was Allah Who slew them, and you did not smite when you smote (the enemy), but it was Allah Who smote, and that He might confer upon the believers a good gift from Himself; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
According to the documents used by the 9-11 hijackers, they were following specific chapters in the Koran, which instructed them to kill non-Muslims.

the united states and thailand have built a lot of their wealth on the exploitation of cheap illegal immigrant labour. its all over the press these days the bangkok post today has a vivid description(thailand bullies its illegal immigrants by a bkkpost editor) of how burmese illegal immigrants in their millions are exploited cheated tricked and even die. personally i met in a chiangmai prison dozens of burmese young men exploited in thailand in a revolving door policy(unlike the thai prisoners with their strawberry juice ya ba and drugs and mobile phones all mafia types) who are imprisoned fined and then sent back to burma over and over again. these burmese young people were soft kind and gentle who are being forced to run away from the monstrous marshall thwej regime because of poverty unemployment and corruption. the thai government just like the indian government is palsy walsy with the burmese dictatorship and its brutal exploitative cruelty. india has just given millions of dollars to bolster up this ugly regime which is the same as the united states which also exploits kills and uses its millions of illegal immigrants from mexico and latin america. there is even a discussion about changing the 14th amendment of the constitution of who is an american. the tv glaringly shows americam politicians ranting and raving about these unfortunate mexicans with mexicans climbing over the border from mexico. it is an absolute dirty fiction that thailand is a democracy.as is the case with the united states where only 30% even bother to vote. both are grossly exploiting oligarchic cultures which parasitically use desperate illegal immigrants to swell their coffers of gold. readers just look at the mass media of today. no more needs to be said.
i have just read peter partners gods and battles at 81 years of age and have completely changed my left right wing way of thinking. the whole history of the united states is about holy wars against the anti-christ and those who oppose big business. yes indeed avatar of james cameron is a horrendous piece of movie making and must be stopped by another holy war and a fatwa against james cameron and his ex wife who created the hurt box. obama must pass a bill to stop this rot in american values. even the holy imperial roman catholic church and fundamentalist christians hate the movie. all hail to tarantino who really understands how to make money and loves america. in my mind kissinger nixon rumsfeld and cheney and bush must be declared saints and a musical opry would be a good way to spread the u.s. way of peace frienship love and jesus all for the american people and world security.
