Per the Truth Laid Bear ecosystem, that site is Glenn Reynolds’ Instapundit. So let’s take a quick scan of his posts. I’ll use the ones from the same time frame as the Kos posts so that it can’t be argued that there was different news out there at the time of the Kos posts than at the time of the Instapundit posts. So these will be the posts from yesterday up to 2:50pm LA time, or 5:50pm on the East Coast, which is the time Glenn’s site is on.

I think you're totally right.
There are certainly angry blogs on the right. Places like Emperor Misha's are pretty open as to what they are about, and it isn't being the right of center mainstream.
Unfortunately, you don't see much that's constructive or positive from lefty blogs. For all they revile 'compassionate conservatism', they're pretty darn short on the 'compassion' part themselves.
I wonder sometimes if what they accuse the center and the right of isn't more like projection on their part. They say the right 'hates', because they can't imagine NOT hating. They say the right is intolerant, while their tolerance is iffy at best. They call the right 'greedy', because they themselves are. (It's interesting how, when things like Chief Wiggle's toy drives are promoted, you won't see anything like them on the left blogs, while the right blogs spread the attention, and gets contributions to fill a need.)
Perhaps the very things the left supposedly hates most about the right... are the very things that the left embody. Intolerance, greed, a lack of compassion... what would an impartial alien observer looking at BOTH sides think?
